Sometimes you get the bear, sometimes the bear gets you.

I’m switching up the workflow again.

Substituting Bear for Yojimbo/OmniOutliner in my daily

I like being able to collect/organize/edit in “wysiwyg” and export to everything.

Bear Markdown Editor

Bear

  • Markdown Editor with Images
  • Tags Driven
  • Web Extension for Firefox, Safari and Chrome
  • Exports in HTML, PDF, DOCX, MD, JPG, etc.

At first glance it looks like it may pull out todos?

We’ll see how it goes.

Disaster Strikes Again

Covid really has me brain dead. When I upgraded the stlouist.com instance in May, I neglected to turn the auto-backup on, ran an upgrade last night and you can probably guess the rest.

Luckily I haven’t gotten “too” much done on this over the past few months, as I have been learning Hugo and now Bear. Most of it should fill itself back in, but I lost a lot of tagging.

It has been a constant pain with Drupal and upgrades for a few years now. I do plan on migrating stlouist.com and others to 9, but I am seriously considering other options for the smaller sites.
