Confections, Carbohydrates, and Charm
In 1913, best friends with bakery and confectionary talents emigrated from Greece. They found a building in north St. Louis, pre-Arch, of course, and opened Crown Candy Kitchen. Since then, that arch has risen, buildings, too, their residents digging deep, working for tomorrows. When their tomorrows arrive, they move up and out to suburbs. Crown Candy Kitchen has remained in place through all those changes. The owners have taken heed of good advice: bloom where you’re planted.
