A local toy shop that specializes in vintage toys says quite a few Christmas shoppers are looking for some favorite toy that got away. They're helping some relive their childhood.
Andrew Tolch is the owner of Andy's Toys at Watson and McKenzie. He says he gets a lot of requests for something called "Stretch Armstrong."
"That was the doll from the '70s that was filled with a kind of goo," Tolch said. "And none have survived, because Stretch has to be kept at 69 degrees with 60 percent humidity, or they break apart and all the goo comes out."
