01/29/2019: The NWS has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for the City of St. Louis until 01:00 PM Wednesday

WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING UNTIL WEDNESDAY 1;00 PM.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 20 to 25 below zero expected. 

* WHERE...Portions of central and east central Missouri and south central and southwest Illinois. 

* WHEN...From 6 PM Tuesday to 1 PM CST Wednesday. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Watch is advanced notice that there is the potential for a combination of very cold air and strong winds to create
dangerously low wind chill values. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates on this situation.
