The Community Resource Fair on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 11am to 2pm is hosted at Child & Family Empowerment Center (4145 Kennelly Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63113. The event is co-hosted by St. Francis Community Services, Archdiocese of St. Louis Peace & Justice Commissioner, Heat Up St. Louis, St. Louis Area Foodbank, City Treasurer’s Office, City of St. Louis Department of Health, and City of St. Louis Department of Human Services.
The community resources available are expungement, food assistance, parking fine assistance, COVID-19 vaccinations, utility assistance, and rental assistance.
Expungement records not eligible if they contain: Class A felonies, felony assault offenses, kidnapping convictions, offenses that require individuals to register as sex offenders, felony offenses where death was part of the offense, and/or misdemeanor or felony offenses for domestic assault. Expungement petitions can only be filed after: 1) all fines are paid in full, 2) probation or parole are completed, and 3) petitioners have gone 1 year (for people whose most serious offense is a misdemeanor) or 3 years (for people with a felony on their record) without being found guilty of an offense or any other infraction under Missouri Law.
Parking fine assistance - Treasurer’s office will forgive up to $100 in parking fines/fees for those who attend.
COVID-19 vaccinations - Pfizer vaccination available for those 12+ years. Bring your vaccine card if you need second dose or booster.
Utility assistance - bring a copy of your proof of income from 2021, last pay stub YTD, or a copy of an official awards letter, such as SSI, Unemployment, or Child support.
Rental Assistance - bring a copy of your proof of income from 2021, last pay stub YTD, or a copy of an official awards letter, such as SSI, Unemployment, or Child support. Bring a copy of your lease or eviction notice, if you have either.
