stLouISTOne of the most iconic voices in the history of the saxophone, David Sanborn returns home to St. Louis and the Jazz St. Louis stage. Sanborn has released 24 albums, won six Grammy Awards, and has had eight Gold albums and one Platinum. Having inspired countless other musicians, he has worked in many genres which typically blend instrumental pop, R&B and traditional jazz. Prior to the pandemic, Jazz St. Louis had planned to celebrate Sanborn’s 75th birthday in the summer of 2020. These shows will allow us to give Dave a belated Happy Birthday!
