Inspired by themes presented in Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel, The Phantom of the Opera, “Phantom” highlights the need for every human to be loved, through the eyes of a young woman who struggles with self-identity and finding a place to fit in. “Phantom” is an exhilarating and haunting ride through her journey as she (and those around her) grapple with themes of love, beauty, courage, redemption, as well as the natural vs. the supernatural. This original story is written, directed and choreographed by ADC Artistic Director, Ashley L. Tate, who brings her company of classical, contemporary and commercial dancers to The Grandel for an afternoon of performance art, featuring a diverse program of dance styles.
Ashleyliane Dance Company continues to place patron safety as our first priority. As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, Ashleyliane Dance Company will implement additional safety protocols at all shows.
