Next NGA West

Next NGA West is the largest federal investment project in the history of St. Louis. It is a mega-project jointly managed by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Air Force. The 97-acre site is located in the historic St. Louis Place neighborhood at the intersection of Jefferson and Cass avenues. The project will feature an approximately 712,000 square foot office building, parking garages, visitor center, inspection facility and access control points.

National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency delivers world-class geospatial intelligence that provides a decisive advantage to policymakers, warfighters, intelligence professionals and first responders.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District

As the construction lead, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District will select the primary contractor and award a comprehensive design-build contract. They are also responsible for managing the design, construction and delivery of the Next NGA West facilities.

Project Connect

Project Connect is an action plan by the City of St. Louis and its residents that will connect current initiatives being proposed by both the public and private sector. Project Connect will ensure coordination and collaboration between neighborhood revitalization, transportation, and other re-development efforts and the City’s investments to support NGA.

U.S. Air Force

The U.S. Air Force is the property owner of the Next NGA West project.

The Air Force officials and the City of St. Louis have arranged a Land Development, Remediation and Transfer Agreement to transfer ownership in 2018. Once the Next NGA West construction project is completed the new facility and property will fall under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Air Force and will be managed by officials based at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Naval Air Systems Command

NAVAIR has been responsible for the engineering, procurement, configuration, and deployment of IT solutions across many DoD and Federal Agencies throughout the world. Decades of experience in full lifecycle support of communications systems has allowed NAVAIR to develop its own custom, tailored processes to support the entirety of the engineering lifecycle. NAVAIR will provide technical expertise in developing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure requirements and design solution recommendations in support of Next NGA West.
