Just days after Congress cut federal funding to states, Mike Kehoe is poised to sign legislation projected to reduce state revenue by as much as a half-billion dollars annually.
Kehoe favors renewal of the one-tenth-of-one-cent Parks, Soils and Water Sales Tax and keeping state parks free. A renewal of the tax will be on the ballot next year.
