Collegiate students to resume classes after shooting; CVPA plans still in the works

St. Louis Public Schools announced the Collegiate School of Medicine and Bioscience will resume classes Monday, two weeks after a mass shooting at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School. Classes at both schools have been canceled since students and teachers were evacuated on the morning of Oct. 24. Here's how many companies relocated, expanded to Illinois in the past year

Nearly 360 businesses either expanded or relocated to Illinois in the past year, generating $7.1 billion in capital investments and more than 16,000 jobs. That's according to an annual report by Intersect Illinois, the state’s economic development organization. Holocaust museum in St. Louis County reopens after years-long renovation project

The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum reopened this week after a $21 million renovation that took two years to complete. The museum is now 36,000 square feet, four times larger than it was before. "The stories of St. Louis survivors really guide the visitor through the process," Amy Lutz of the Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum said.
