Firefighters will be battling a fire for days after it started burning at a Blues Hog BBQ Sauce storage facility in New Haven in Franklin County, officials told KSDK on Thursday. The New Haven-Berger Fire Protection District deputy chief said the facility in the 500 block of Orchard Street caught fire at around 5 a.m. Thursday. Fields Foods faces more lawsuits

Two new lawsuits have been filed against the former grocery chain. One suit, filed Monday by the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council, claims Fields Food hasn’t made payments on a $500,000 letter of credit. The other, filed Sept. 16 by Leaf Capital Funding LLC, says Fields Food has defaulted on an agreement for the purchase of software and scanning systems.

Missourians to vote on paid sick leave and minimum wage hike next month
