Arrest: Relative to the shooting death of Tameeka Brown on April 13, 2015, Homicide Detectives arrested and charged a 26-year-old man for Murder 1st Degree. Since the suspect was 16-years-old when the incident happened, the case has been referred to Juvenile Court.

On February 17, 2025, around 6:30PM, District 6 officers responded to a call for a hold up that occurred in the 400 block of Blase Ave. Upon arriving, they met with a 25-year-old man who stated he and his girlfriend were robbed at gunpoint while trying to make a sale via an online marketplace.
