On January 18, 2025 around 8:30 PM, District 4 officers received a call to the Element Hotel in the 3700 block of Forest Park Ave. Hotel staff reported that a child was found unresponsive in their indoor pool.

St. Louis, MO – The SLMPD, City of St. Louis Department of Personnel, Mayor’s Office and the St. Louis Police Officers’ Association (SLPOA) have reached an agreement that will provide a 7% pay increase for police officers and sergeants. The negotiations were voted on and approved by the SLPOA membership.

On January 20, 2025, just after 2PM, District 6 officers responded to a call for an accident with a person struck. When officers arrived, they located a 39-year-old female who was killed and a two-year-old boy in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The child was rushed to the hospital and Accident Reconstruction investigators were called to investigate.

On January 19,2025 around 9:30 PM, District 6 officers responded to a call for a carjacking. When officers arrived, they met with a 17-year-old and his mother who stated he was carjacked by two unknown individuals at Mimika and Lillian.

On January 19, 2025, around 7PM, District 4 officers responded to a call for shots fired in the 3700 block of Cottage Ave. When officers arrived, they observed the front door to a residence open and made entry.

On January 19, 2025, at approximately 6:30PM, District 4 officers responded to a call in the 1300 block of N. Tucker Blvd. When they arrived, they were met by a 24-year-old man who had a severe laceration to his face.

On January 18, 2025 around 1:47 PM, Officers were patrolling the Hyde Park neighborhood when they observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle came to an abrupt stop and the driver, a 21-year-old man, exited with an apparent gunshot wound to his face. Officers observed what appeared to be a close-range gunshot wound to the man's cheek.

On January 17, 2025 at approximately 5:19AM, District Two officers responded to a call for a hold-up in the 4100 block of Papin. When they arrived, they spoke with two men who stated they had just been robbed by one man holding a gun and another man holding a knife.
