stLouISTWelcome Neighbor STL is having a Drive-Thru event to support refugee families who have recently resettled in St. Louis on Saturday, November 12th from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at STL Foodworks.
Refugee cooks and volunteers will prepare your meal and deliver a 6-course Afghan lunch directly to your car with a wide smile and heartfelt thank you. Drive-Thru events help rebuild lives and rebuild hope for our refugee neighbors as they share their talents and culture.

These meals present an opportunity for immigrant families to share knowledge and skills unique to them. It is also an opportunity for us to get a glimpse into their culture. Proceeds from these events go directly back to the refugee cooks, setting them on a path of greater independence and confidence in their lives here in in the USA.
