Airport Revenue Refunding Bonds Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 3:00 P.M., The City of St. Louis, Missouri (the “City”) will conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed issuance by the City of its Airport Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2022A (AMT) (St. Louis Lambert International Airport) (the “Bonds”) to be issued in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $20 million for the purpose of refunding all or a portion of the City’s presently outstanding Airport Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2012 (AMT) (Lambert-St. Louis International Airport) which were previously issued for the purpose of refinancing the costs of construction, repair, improvement and renovation of certain projects at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport (the “Airport”), including runway expenditures, parking facilities, snow removal equipment, passenger loading facilities, and climate control equipment.  The Airport is owned and operated by the City and located at 10701 Lambert International Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri.  The Bonds will be limited obligations of the City, payable from the revenues derived by the City from the operation of the Airport and certain other pledged funds.  The Bonds will not be a debt of the City, the State of Missouri (the “State”), or any political subdivision thereof; and neither the City nor the State, or any political subdivision thereof, will be liable thereon, nor, in any event will the Bonds be payable out of any funds or properties other than those of the City pledged thereto.  The taxing power of the City is not pledged to the payment of the Bonds.

The hearing will be held at 1520 Market Street, Room 3005, St. Louis, Missouri, for the purpose of giving interested persons an opportunity to be heard on the proposed plan of financing.

The hearing will be open to the public.  All interested persons will be given an opportunity to express their views, both orally and through written statements which are submitted to the City on or before the hearing.  Those persons who desire to speak or have their written statements read during the hearing must provide a written request to the City at least 24 hours before the hearing.  Written requests and any associated written statements should be emailed to ambauman@flystl.com, or delivered to 10701 Lambert International Blvd., St. Louis, MO. 63145, Room MTN-2252, Attention Aeric Bauman, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
