stLouISTSeptember is both National Workforce Development Month and National Apprenticeship Month, and SLATE is celebrating by showcasing the power of apprenticeships and training programs that help St. Louis residents build skills and launch rewarding careers. On September 24, SLATE will host a Job Fair at 1520 Market Street, where participants can meet employers, explore job opportunities, and receive career guidance. Staying true to its mission, SLATE connects residents to career pathways that lead to family-sustaining wages—often faster than a four-year degree—so individuals can begin earning strong wages in weeks, not years.
