The City of St. Louis Department of Human Services has extended the Code Blue level 4 activation level through Friday morning, meaning 600+ emergency shelter beds, in addition to the baseline of 400, are available in the city day and night, and transportation to shelter will continue.
More than 600 emergency shelter beds have been available every day since Friday, Jan. 23, and capacity has not been exceeded during the level 4 activation.
Walk-up Shelters
Walk-up shelter is available at the following locations:

Additional locations, including space for families and those with pets, are available by appointment coordinated through the United Way 211 Helpline or by speaking with a coordinator at a rally point. If a walk-up shelter reaches capacity, transportation will be provided to another shelter with sufficient capacity.
Evening Transportation
Those seeking transportation to shelters can get picked up between 5 and 7 p.m. at the following rally point locations:

Each rally point has either a warming bus or an indoor warming facility available, in addition to a Metro Call-A-Ride shuttle that transports individuals to shelter. Each shuttle is staffed with both a driver and an outreach worker.
