Join Cornerstone CDC for a community feedback session on the Gwen Giles Park Project design. This event will showcase the current design process and gather valuable feedback from the community.
Project Goals:
Upgrade the trail within Gwen Giles Park, including connections to the Greenway on the Tracks and Hodiamont Avenue.
Design a trailhead on Hodiamont Avenue connected to the City's planned cycle track.
Enhance landscaping with lawns, shrubs, lighting, environmental graphics, grading, retaining walls, and other improvements.
Residents are encouraged to view the proposed plans, provide feedback, and envision the future utilization of Gwen Giles Park. Your input is crucial in ensuring the project meets the community's needs and aspirations. We are seeking input from all community members about what is most crucial to consider for the benefit of the community.
Our team will also be soliciting feedback from the neighborhood about a future kickoff event, tentatively set for the spring of 2025!
We look forward to your participation and feedback! In collaboration with Great Rivers Greenway
