Faculty Expert Panel: 2026 Midterm Elections - What Happened, Why, and What it Means

The 2026 Midterm Elections: What Happened, Why It Happened, and What It Means – At Home and Abroad
Wednesday, November 11, 7:30 PM
Cook Hall, Anheuser-Busch Auditorium

Four SLU political scientists will examine the results, the forces that produced them, and what they mean for Congress, the presidency, the parties, state and local politics, and America's role in the world:

- Dr. Steve Rogers (elections, state legislatures, and public opinion)
- Dr. Morgan Hazelton (judicial politics, law and courts)
- Dr. Robin Saywitz (public administration and local government)
- Dr. Nori Katagiri (international relations and security studies)

After the discussion, there will be time for your questions, followed by a reception with hors d'oeuvres from Pasta House where you can continue the conversation with the panelists and with each other.

The event is free and open to everyone, so bring your friends! If you plan to attend, please RSVP using this link so we can plan for the reception, but you're welcome to come even if you don't RSVP.
