Flood Advisory issued April 4 at 6:18PM CDT until April 4 at 9:15PM CDT by NWS St Louis MO

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Illinois, including the following
county, Madison and east central Missouri, including the following
independent city, northeastern Saint Louis City.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 618 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

St. Louis, Granite City, Alton, Collinsville, Edwardsville,
Godfrey, Glen Carbon, Wood River, Highland, Troy, Bethalto,
Maryville, Pontoon Beach, Staunton, Madison, Venice, East
