* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Illinois, including the following
counties, Madison and northern Saint Clair and east central
Missouri, including the following county and independent city,
Saint Louis and Saint Louis City.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 203 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

St. Louis, St. Charles, Florissant, Chesterfield, Belleville,
Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Granite City, O'Fallon,
Alton, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, East St. Louis, Hazelwood,
Collinsville, Edwardsville, Webster Groves, Ferguson and
Manchester.

Scott Joplin Historic Site, Confluence State Park and
Horseshoe Lake State Park.
