* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties,
western Bond, southeastern Calhoun, Madison, western Monroe and
northwestern Saint Clair and east central Missouri, including the
following counties and independent city, Saint Charles,
northeastern Saint Louis and northeastern Saint Louis City.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 218 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts locally over 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
St. Louis, O'Fallon, St. Charles, St. Peters, Florissant,
Chesterfield, Belleville, Wildwood, University City, Granite
City, Wentzville, Alton, Maryland Heights, East St. Louis,
Hazelwood, Collinsville, Edwardsville, Ferguson and Arnold.
