Free Electronics Recycling for City Residents

Brightside St. Louis, Saint Louis City Recycles and the Midwest Recycling Center are hosting an electronics recycling event.

Have valid ID ready when you arrive to prove City residency. Fees waived for city residents while funding lasts.

Not accepted:

• Smoke detectors
• Glass lamps
• Light bulbs
• Fluorescent tubes
• Alkaline batteries
• Magnetic media (VHS tapes, cassette tapes, floppy disks, et cetera)
• Optical discs (CDs/DVDs)

What to Expect

MRC staff will be ready to direct you through the event in an organized manner, and answer any questions you have.

MRC plans to have all of the staff needed to unload your vehicle of your electronics for proper recycling, so there is usually no need to exit the vehicle. Simply tell staff what you have to drop off and where in your car it is located, pop the trunk open if needed, and they will take care of the rest.
