The Delmar Loop is excited to once again welcome the community for Holidays in the Loop, a festive, family-friendly celebration on Saturday, December 6, 2025. With holiday treats, pet-friendly photos with Santa, and the iconic Fitz’s Tree Lighting featuring dancing Santas.

Twenty Loop businesses will offer complimentary holiday cookies as guests explore the district’s unique shops and restaurants. Visitors can collect cookies, shop for gifts, and enjoy seasonal specials throughout the day.

Pet lovers are invited to bring their furry friends to the Moonrise Hotel (6177 Delmar Blvd.) for festive photos with Santa. This annual favorite creates picture-perfect memories and supports a joyful, pet-friendly atmosphere in the Loop.
Fitz’s Annual Tree Lighting with Dancing Santas
11:00 AM – 6:30 PM
The celebration continues outside Fitz’s Root Beer, where the Dancing Santas will entertain the crowd leading up to the official tree lighting at 6:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy music, photo ops, and holiday cheer during this beloved community tradition.
