Meeting of the Full Board of Aldermen

The Full Board of Aldermen will meet in person to review and discuss various Board Bills, Resolutions and Topics.

COVID-19

Currently, the City of St. Louis has no mask mandate. Those who wish to wear a mask while in the Board of Aldermen Chamber, hearing rooms and offices are encouraged to do so especially when the community and transmission levels of COVID-19 are high.

Public Seating

There is seating in the balcony, accessed from the third floor of City Hall, for members of the public who wish to attend in person full Board of Aldermen meetings.

Board of Aldermen Rule 39 - Admission to the Chamber

Honored guests, representatives of the press with proper professional credentials, and any persons with a mobility disability as described in the Americans with Disabilities Act who cannot otherwise access seating in the gallery shall be admitted to the floor of the Chamber, to be situated at places designated by the President.

Honored guests shall include only immediate family members and/or spouses of members of the Board of Aldermen, and individuals or groups being honored by the Board of Aldermen by Courtesy Resolution.

No individual except an honored guest as defined above shall be admitted to the floor of the Chamber if such individual—

• is a registered lobbyist pursuant to Mo. Rev. Stat. § 105.470;
• has any direct personal or pecuniary interest in business pending before the Board of Aldermen or its Committees:
• is in the employment of or represents any party or organization for the purpose of influencing, directly or indirectly, the passage, defeat or amendment of any legislative proposal pending before the Board of Aldermen or its Committees.

Public Comment During Full Board Meetings

There is no public comment at full Board of Aldermen meetings. Public comments are taken on specific topics and legislation at various committee meetings. Please check the Board Committee Meeting Calendar on this website for details.
