Mystery of Winter Photography at Shaw Nature Reserve

All levels. Ice patterns on the water’s surface, frost crystals on seed pods and the texture of snow all offer an amazing world to explore with our cameras. This photo workshop includes a presentation of winter images in color and black and white, instruction in cold weather equipment considerations and shooting exercises in the field. The key to staying comfortable outdoors in winter is to keep head, hands and feet warm and to dress in layers. Bring a lunch. The heated classroom, hot chocolate, scones and discussions will restore us between outdoor shooting sessions. Remember to pack a lunch. Join us for learning and fun in this winter photography adventure.
