Experience the rich, aromatic flavors of Damascus at the next Fork in the Road Foundation Supper Club. On March 14, 2026, join us for an extraordinary vegan feast prepared by Chef Mawda Altayan. This evening is dedicated to celebrating Syrian culinary heritage while directly supporting the empowerment of refugee women in our community.
The Vegan Syrian Menu Chef Mawda has curated a vibrant, six-course menu designed to be shared and celebrated:
Beet Hummus: A colorful twist on the classic, served with warm, fresh pita.
Vegetarian Samosas: Spring roll pastry stuffed with potatoes, green peas, carrots, onions, artichoke, and Mediterranean spices. Then deep fried in corn oil.
Vegan Ouzi Rice: Fragrant, spiced rice tossed with a medley of garden-fresh vegetables.
Eggplant Moussaka: A hearty, slow-cooked Mediterranean classic featuring tender eggplant and rich tomato aromatics.
Arabic Salad: A refreshing, crisp medley of seasonal greens, tomatoes, onion, cabbage, lemon juice, and olive oil.
Vegan Mixed Nut Baklava: A sweet, flaky finale layered with premium nuts and traditional syrup.
