Nuestra Comunidad, Nuestras Historias (Our Community, Our Stories)

Step into the heart of Hispanic Heritage Month as we celebrate St. Louis’s dynamic Hispanic community with an evening of storytelling. Hosted by storytelling facilitator Adam Flores, local St. Louisans Alessandra Carbone, Jackie Duty, and Jairo Javier Morales will share their personal stories in a way that promises to stir emotions, spark laughter, and invite moments of reflection and connection. Hear from Missouri Historical Society historians about our Migration and Memory Initiative, which aims to preserve the stories of those who have come from around the globe and made St. Louis their home. Before and after the storytelling program, enjoy cultural resource tables, music by DJ Big Papa G, and food and drink for purchase from La Cocina de Doña Nico and La Colombianita.
