The National Weather Service—St. Louis office, in collaboration with the St. Louis Public Library and the City of St. Louis Emergency Management Agency, will provide residents with free storm spotter training on April 24, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Julia Davis library branch.
Attendees will learn about the science behind tornados and other types of severe weather. NWS St. Louis meteorologists will also explain how residents can help the community by learning how to report severe weather to the National Weather Service.
