St. Louis, MO – This Veterans Day weekend, Operation Art transforms the historic Armory STL
into a vibrant showcase of creativity, healing, and diverse artistic expression. This unique
two-day event, curated by artists for artists, promises an immersive experience that goes
beyond the traditional art fair.
Event Highlights:
? Diverse Artistic Spectrum: From fine art to lowbrow creations, Operation Art features
hand-selected works that push boundaries and challenge perceptions.
? Veteran Art Therapy Showcase: Witness the transformative power of art through
compelling works from veteran art therapy programs, illustrating personal journeys of
healing and resilience.
? Interactive Installations: Experience Andrew Rola's mesmerizing animated paintings,
bridging technology and traditional art forms.
? Live Music: Groove to the beats of DJ Aydamn, adding a dynamic soundtrack to the
visual feast.
? Community Impact: Engage with 15 veteran-focused non-profits, emphasizing the
event's commitment to supporting our military community.
"Operation Art is about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health," says co-organizer Eli
"Goz" Gosney, a former Army Ranger whose stark black and white artworks tell a powerful story
of personal transformation. "We're creating a space where it's okay to not be okay, and where
art becomes a vehicle for healing and expression."
The event also features works from notable artists including Alison Borzarth, Neil Brown, Dylan
Funk, Alison Norfleet, Andrew Rola and Justin Tolentino offering a diverse range of styles and
mediums.
"This isn't your mother's art fair," adds co-organizer Tim "Gray Finch" Wagner. "We've curated a
