People's Back To School Health and Wellness Community Resource Fair

Come catch the wellness wave at our annual Back-to-School Health and Wellness Community Resource Fair, Saturday, August 3rd from 9am to 1pm at 5701 Delmar Blvd. Enjoy free activities, food, music and giveaways.
Health is Wealth!
Start the school year off with knowledge about you and your family’s health. Receive free onsite health screenings and assessments. Apply for health insurance (marketplace) onsite. Remember, COVID still exists! Take At-Home COVID Test kits while supplies last.
Health Experts will be onsite to educate women about nutrition for the entire family and how it affects weight gain and weight loss, chronic diseases and much more. Learn more about sexual health and have an opportunity to receive a free at home HIV test kit.
While supplies last, receive a back-to-school supply kit. Child(ren) must be present. The first 350 attendees will receive a $50 gift card after completing health assessment(s) -must be 18 with valid photo ID. Boys will receive vouchers for free haircuts (while they last) courtesy of locs of glory. Free braiding hair and supplies will be distributed for the girl’s courtesy of Prince Beauty Supply. Free gunlocks will be available while they last. Individuals may also sign up for a chance to be selected for a free air conditioner.
