Playing with Heart

On September 19th at Busch Stadium, former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright and Sierra Kile, daughter of the late Darryl Kile, will take part in a ceremonial first pitch to kick off “Playing with Heart” — a heart health awareness initiative focused on lowering LDL cholesterol and preventing atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). The event, in collaboration with Merck and WomenHeart, honors Darryl Kile’s legacy and brings vital cardiovascular education to high-risk communities. Fans in attendance will also receive educational materials promoting proactive heart health.
