BOARD MEETING
1. Community Comments
Opportunity for individuals from the St. Louis community to comment on issues concerning the Community Children’s Services Fund and the Community Mental Health Fund or other issues related to behavioral health needs of children and/or adults. Speakers must sign up in advance and limit comments to three minutes.
2. Approval of the April 2025 Board Minutes
The Trustees will vote whether to approve the meeting minutes from the last meeting held April 17, 2025. Minutes are distributed to all recipients on the MHB contact list.
3. FY25 Q3 financial report
Executive Director Cassandra Kaufman will present the FY25 Third Quarter Financial Statements.
4. Resolution to Approve FY26 Continuation Grants from the Community Mental Health Fund
Vice Chair and Program Committee Chair Rob Poirier will present the resolution to approve FY26 continuation funding for year three of the Community Mental Health Fund grant cycle.
5. Resolution to Approve FY26 System Change Planning Grants from the Community Mental Health Fund
Vice Chair and Program Committee Chair Rob Poirier will present the resolution to approve FY26 continuation funding for funding partnerships and initiatives, system building, and emerging needs.
6. Resolution to Approve FY26 Continuation Grants from the Community Children’s Services Fund
Program Committee Member Marcia Hayes-Harris will present the resolution to approve FY26 continuation funding for year four of the Community Children’s Services Fund grant cycle.
7. Resolution to Approve FY26 Community Children’s Services Fund and Community Mental Health Fund Intergenerational Continuation Grants
Program Committee Chair Rob Poirier will present the resolution to approve FY26 continuation funding for year four of the Community Children’s Services Fund and Community Mental Health Fund Intergenerational (a.k.a. Hybrid) grants.
8. May 6 Mental Health Awareness Sidewalk Talk Event Presentation
MHB Prevention Partnerships Director Lisa Potts will showcase the day’s activities conducted as part of Mental Health Awareness Month.
9. Staff Report
A written update on major activities and accomplishments of the staff since the last meeting of the Trustees will be distributed.
10. Closed Session
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees shall, subject to a motion duly made and adopted, conduct a closed session, for the purpose of considering the following matter pursuant to Section 610.021(1), Revised Statutes of Missouri, and engage in proceedings to:
(3) discuss sealed bids and proposals, and related documents, or documents related
to a negotiated contract, pursuant to Section 610.021(12).
Resolution to Approve FY26 Community Children’s Services –
Early Childhood Fund Project Grants and Partnerships
Program Committee Member Marcia Hayes-Harris will present the resolution to approve FY26 year one funding for Community Children’s Services - Early Childhood Fund project grants and partnerships.
11. Adjournment
The next meeting will be Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 5:45 PM conducted virtually via Zoom. The third Thursday in June when MHB typically conducts its monthly Board of Trustees’ meeting is Juneteenth, a federal holiday, therefore the meeting will be conducted virtually one day early, to ensure a quorum.
