Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 15 until 5:45 PM

The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the City of St. Louis until 5:45 PM.

At 5:01 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bella Villa,  or over Lemay, moving east at 40 mph.

• HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
• SOURCE...Radar indicated.
• IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 8:00 PM CDT for a portion of east central Missouri.
