Severe Thunderstorm Warning until March 14 10:45 PM

The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the City of St. Louis until 10:45 PM.

• Hazards: Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
• Source: Emergency management reported.
• Impacts: People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions: 

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm has produced widespread damaging winds and is capable of producing dangerous hail.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM for portions of southwest Illinois and east central Missouri.
