Special Meeting of the Board of Estimate and Apportionment - June 16, 2025

The Board of Estimate and Apportionment will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, in the Mayor's Conference Room 200. 

ITEMS PRESENTED FOR THE FIRST TIME:
1. #25.142 Request from the Board of Aldermen’s President for approval of
Board Bill #14. This ordinance is authorizing the Department of Public
Safety to accept the 2024 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance
Grant award of up to $351,935 from the U.S Department of Justice for the
purpose of providing funding assistance with the Nightwatch Program,
Problem Properties Program, and St. Louis Metropolitan Police
Department Homicide Analyst Program.

2. #25.143 Request from the Board of Aldermen’s President for approval of
Board Bill #28. This ordinance is appropriating the sum of $4,999,526 in
Community Development Block Grant funds to the Community
Development Administration (CDA), authorizing and directing the Director
of CDA to execute contracts as may be necessary to expend funds, and
directing the Comptroller to issue warrants thereon upon the City Treasury.

3. #25.144 Request from the Board of Aldermen’s President for approval of
Board Bill #29. This ordinance is authorizing the Mayor to enter into and
execute a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) for the receipt of Pathways to Removing Obstacles to
Housing (PRO Housing) funding, appropriating the sum of 6,999,198 in
PRO Housing funds to the Community Development Administration
(CDA), authorizing and directing the Director of CDA to execute contracts
as may be necessary to expend funds.

4. #25.145 Request from the Board of Aldermen’s President for approval of
Board Bill . This ordinance is authorizing and directing an
appropriation in the total amount of $30,000,000 of Rams Settlement Funds
for deposit into the Tornado Relief and Recovery Fund.
