PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE FOR SEPTEMBER 26 MEETING
Anyone wishing to address the Senior Fund Board on the proposed 2024 property tax rate for the Senior Citizens’ Services Fund is invited to comment in the public hearing that will be open at the beginning of the regular meeting of the Senior Fund Board of Directors. Comments should pertain to the resolution setting the property tax rate for the fund (proposed tax levy rate of $0.05 on each $100 of assessed valuation). The public notice outlining assessed valuations for the current and previous tax years is available on our website linked below and published in the St. Louis American.
ABOUT THE SENIOR FUND: The St. Louis City Senior Fund receives property tax revenues levied and collected by the City of St. Louis to support programs and services for residents in the City of St. Louis who are 60 years or older. The Senior Fund distributes grants to local nonprofits and government entities to help older residents.
