Tornado Recovery Vacant Unit Turns Program – Public Hearing & Informational Workshop

The City of St. Louis Community Development Administration (CDA), in partnership with the Office of Recovery, invites nonprofit developers, Community Development Corporations (CDCs), and public entities that own rental property portfolios to attend a public hearing and informational workshop on the Tornado Recovery Vacant Unit Turns.

This session will provide:

• An overview of the new Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA).
• Step-by-step guidance on the application process through CDA’s Salesforce grants portal.
• Details on eligibility requirements, timelines, and tenant protections.
• An opportunity for applicants to ask general questions about the program.

The Tornado Recovery Vacant Unit Turns Program will provide $2.5 million in Rams Settlement funds to cover minor repairs, maintenance, and updates of vacant rental units that can be quickly prepared for families displaced by the May 16 tornado.

Participation in this workshop is highly encouraged for all interested applicants.
