Unity for Safer Communities Walk

You are invited to join the “Unity for Safer Communities Walk” on Saturday, July 20, 2024, as we unite to promote safer neighborhoods. Proudly sponsored by US Bank, this event is hosted by the Federation of Block Units of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and takes place in conjunction with the Urban Expo.    See attached flyer for details and to share.

Event Details:

• Location: Kiener Plaza, 500 Chestnut

• Gathering Time: 8:00 AM

•  Walk Starts: 9:00 AM

Come together with fellow community members from Illinois, City of St. Louis, and St. Louis County. This walk is more than just a step – it’s a stride towards mentoring youth and providing safe spaces. We will walk 7 blocks north from Kiener Plaza to the Dome at America's Center, site of the Urban League's Annual Urban Expo.

This is a fundraiser for the Urban League's Federation of Block Units.  Youth 18 years and younger are free.  Adults 18 years and older provide support with $30 (plus processing fee).  Help us mentor youth in the power of collective, positive action.
