Updates on the Sinkhole Near 1-44 and North Broadway Ahead of Monday Morning Commute

Be prepared for travel delays due to road and interstate closures near Downtown.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Only the eastbound express lanes are closed on I-70.
• I-44 Westbound is closed where I-70 Eastbound meets it. Traffic heading Downtown should exit at Tucker Blvd.
• I-44 Eastbound toward Downtown is closed at the Poplar Street Bridge. Traffic heading Downtown should exit at Park Ave.
• Broadway, on both sides of the interstate, is closed at Biddle St.
• The ramp from I-64 Westbound toward Walnut St. and I-44 Eastbound is closed. Traffic heading Downtown should exit at 9th Street.
• 4th St. is closed north of Washington Ave.
