Vacancy Strategy Initiative: Progress Report and Community Convening

About this event
Join us for an informative and engaging community convening with members of the St. Louis City Vacancy Strategy Initiative (VSI) partnership. We will provide a brief progress report on related activities, share any challenges encountered, and outline future plans.

At this meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from over a dozen St. Louis City agencies and departments who are not only actively involved in the VSI, but who provide much needed resources for renters, home owners, community organizations, and developers.

Moreover, participants will learn about the St. Louis Vacancy Collaborative project groups, which play a crucial role in implementing various aspects of the Vacancy Strategy Initiative. These project groups focus on different areas such as code enforcement and property improvements, greening vacant lots, policy research, advocacy and implementation, and more.

This event also offers ways to get involved in projects that further our common goals of improving quality of life and increasing economic opportunity. Attendees will discover how they can contribute to the efforts aimed at reducing vacancy rates and revitalizing our neighborhoods. Whether you're interested in volunteering, providing input, seeking answers to common questions, or joining one of the project groups, there will be opportunities for everyone to participate and make a difference.

Don't miss this chance to be informed, engaged, and empowered to be a part of the solution to vacancy in St. Louis City. Together, we can create positive change and build stronger, more vibrant communities.

Refreshments will be provided. Admission is free and open to all members of the community.

Organized by the  St. Louis Vacancy Collaborative
The St. Louis Vacanvy Collaborative helps to coordinate existing vacancy efforts under one umbrella and empowers the public and private sectors to work together toward solutions. We convene committees and working groups to facilitate systemic change, advance new policies, share success stories, and support neighborhood-centric solutions.
