A key Republican on Senate’s Judiciary Committee, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, says he won’t support Martin becoming U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia.
Local laws prohibiting landlords from discriminating against tenants who receive public assistance would be unenforceable under legislation sent to the Missouri governor’s desk this week.
The measure would require state government entities to accept electronic versions of gold and silver, called “electronic specie currency,” as forms of payment for taxes and public debts.
