Authorities say Karen A. Schwarze, 58, concealed a pistol with the intent to prevent prosecution of the victim's father, David A. Schultheis, 34, who was charged with reckless use of a firearm.

Police said Darion Reed, 24, of St. Louis was shot Aug. 23 and died Friday.
