Mary Anne Curtis pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in a deal with prosecutors for exposing her 17-day-old infant son to a fatal dose of methadone in March 2022.
The county is considering a contract for 17 staffers to maintain and repair 49 facilities. Broken down by year, the contract would cost about $153,000 per worker.
Alderwoman Shameem Clark-Hubbard sponsored the program legislation and sits on the board overseeing the awards. Members of the Hubbard family are in line for more than $1.2 million in grants.
