Republican states are considering work requirements at the same time Congress is mulling the idea.

The St. Louis Board of Education appointed Ben Conover, grad student and instructor at St. Louis University and co-founder of advocacy group Solidarity with SLPS, to fill a board vacancy.

The Cordish Cos., which developed Ballpark Village with the St. Louis Cardinals, was chosen from three bids to redevelop the shuttered hotel site, just 2 blocks east of Busch Stadium.

Missouri lawmakers have given initial approval to a plan raising processing fees by $3 per transaction as part of an effort to attract and retain the independent contractors who run the offices across the state.

A health department staffer did write such a transition plan, according to records obtained by the Post-Dispatch. The plan calls for "shelter wide" euthanasia.

Post-Dispatch owner says “threat actors” accessed the company network, targeting “critical applications” and stealing data.

Republicans say statistics showing improvements in crime fighting are unreliable.

“We’re looking at something like e-Harmony for babies,” bill author Gerard Harms told the House Children and Families Committee.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker is expected to endorse “screen-free schools” during his combined State of the State and budget address at noon Wednesday.

“Missourians deserve a government that treats all individuals equally, without preferential treatment or discrimination based on immutable characteristics,” Gov. Mike Kehoe said in a statement.
