JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri patients won’t be charged a co-pay for a second mammogram to diagnose breast cancer or another illness under a bill the state House approved on Thursday.
University’s poll shows feelings on U.S. Sen. Eric Schmitt still being decided, while Josh Hawley splits close to even between "approve" and "disapprove."
Cedric E. Dixon, 34, of St. Louis, is charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, eight counts of armed criminal action, four counts of assault and leaving the scene of an accident.
Smith represents southeast Missouri, including some area counties, in the House of Representatives. The Salem native is first state lawmaker to head powerful committee since 1859.
The bill specifically targets major thoroughfares such as Kingshighway, Grand and Jefferson Avenue, as well as the city's most dangerous intersections.
