The St. Louis County municipality is in the middle of a five-year plan to trim the population by paying specialists to bait and shoot hundreds of deer each winter.

The dismissal came three days before trial was set to begin and a week after Bosley was convicted in federal court of insurance fraud and lying to the FBI.

Hours after the shooting, authorities charged Brittany Rivoire with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm and tampering with a motor vehicle.

The Owensville Fire Protection District said it was called out at about 1:20 a.m. Sunday for a fire at the Wenwood Bay Winery, at 2441 Highway K.

Officers found the man in the 4500 block of South Broadway just before midnight Saturday, St. Louis police said.

“Nobody should have to live like that."

"There's been a big drop off in terms of the new death sentences," said Robin Maher, executive director of the Death Penalty Information Center.

The woman, 32-year-old Dametria McDile, was found unresponsive in her cell just before 4:45 p.m., St. Louis police said.
