St. Peter Catholic Church was exploring other options for its campus Friday after the city council voted to deny its request to permanently close part of a downtown street.
Parents of five black public school students in the city went to federal court on Feb. 17, 1972, alleging that their schools were inferior to those in white neighborhoods.
The National Weather Service says that its forecasts of 1 to 3 inches of snowfall accumulation in the St. Louis area remain relatively unchanged, but that the rate of snowfall will be “higher than previously forecasted.”
