Attention readers in the city of St. Louis and St. Louis County: There's now a free and easy way to get access to more than 5 million items.
St. Louis Public Library and St. Louis County Library have combined their catalogs, making every item in both systems available to cardholders in both jurisdictions.
The new partnership will allow library patrons to find materials from either system through a single search and have them delivered to the branch of their choice.

Gardner's investigator in Greitens case pleads guilty to evidence tampering
An investigator for St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner pleaded guilty Wednesday to one misdemeanor count of tampering with physical evidence, related to a criminal probe of former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens that saw him resign from public office in 2018.
Private investigator William Tisaby received a suspended sentence of one year of probation, the St. Louis Circuit Court said. Jury selection in Tisaby's trial had been set to begin Thursday.
He had been indicted in 2019 on six counts of perjury…
