Board Bill Number 53
Introduced by Alderman Jack Coatar

This Board Bill seeks to approve a Chapter 99 Redevelopment Plan and Blighting Study for the Locust St./ North 6th St./ Pine St./ North 7th St. Redevelopment Area. The proposed Bill also allows for use of eminent domain within the area for all properties except for 622 Olive St. This Board Bill will allow for up to a 20-year tax abatement at 95 percent.

This Board Bill authorizes the City to enter into a project agreement with M2 Development Partners, LLC (the โ€œDeveloperโ€), whereby the Developer will construct a portion of the Lighthouse Landing project at its own cost and expense and the City will reimburse the Developer for such costs using revenues generated by a sales tax imposed by the Lighthouse St. Louis Transportation Development District (the โ€œTDDโ€), subject to remission of such revenues by the TDD to the City.
