Juneteenth at the Garden

Join us as we honor Juneteenth, commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States.

• Ongoing | Educational activities, bookbinding demonstration
• 10 a.m.–6:30 p.m. | Vendors
• 5 p.m. | Tour of the George Washington Carver Garden
• 6 p.m. | Cooking demonstration with Chef Alison Jordan in the William T. Kemper Center for Home Garden kitchen
  Menu: Candied pecans, baked gulf fish or Creole salmon, summer sorghum salad with watermelon, summer sorghum salad with watermelon, blood orange hibiscus tea

All activities included with Garden admission.
